This is a list of the closest competitors to our selected books of the month, dating back to September 2019, when we had our first online survey.  These books received at least more than half of the total points the monthly winner received.  The number in parenthesis indicates the percentage of points the book received compared to the number of points the winning book got.  Shocktober book candidates are not included.  Only the titles are provided, dig through the older posts on this page for more info.

In the comments, indicate whether you would like to vote on the total list or narrow it down to a top ten or top five, provide your list of books to include or exclude, or just hurl some insults at me etc.  We'll take it from there.

I like the idea of voting on a book from the top 10 from this list. Except “all the light we cannot see”, that looks depressing as fuck.

How about top 10 plus wildcard by special request? Because I want to read Prisoners of Geography.
